Benelli has unveiled the BKX 125, a small-capacity adventure motorcycle built on an entirely new engine platform and aimed squarely at entry-level riders. The bike is scheduled to go on sale in international markets from early 2026, though its arrival in Nepal remains uncertain for now.
Designed by the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, Italy, the BKX 125 carries a clean and purposeful adventure-bike stance. The design philosophy revolves around simple, flowing lines with close attention to detail rather than aggressive styling.

Up front, the motorcycle gets a modern headlamp unit with integrated daytime running lights, shared with the more road-focused BKX ‘S’ variant. At the rear, Benelli has gone for a distinctive touch by integrating the brake light into the turn indicators, giving the tail section a neat and compact look.

The BKX 125 sits on a steel tubular trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm front forks that are fully adjustable for preload, compression and rebound, which is uncommon in this segment. The rear features a linkage-assisted monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment, set up to handle mixed riding conditions.
Staying true to its light-adventure positioning, the BKX 125 runs a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel combination, making it suitable for broken roads and mild trail use.

Front suspension travel stands at 180mm, while ground clearance is rated at a healthy 233mm. The seat height, however, is on the taller side at 860mm, which could be something shorter riders may want to consider.
Powering the BKX 125 is a newly developed 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that meets the latest Euro 5+ emission norms. The motor produces a claimed 14.7 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 12.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Braking hardware is equally impressive for the segment. The front gets a 280mm disc paired with a four-piston radial caliper, while the rear uses a 240mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper. Fuel capacity is rated at 12 litres, which should be adequate for weekend rides and light touring.
Benelli will offer the BKX 125 in four colour options: Nordic White, Cement Grey, Avio Blue and Dune Sea. Global sales are expected to begin in early 2026 through Benelli dealerships.

As an entry-level adventure motorcycle, the BKX 125 stands out with its capable suspension, spoked wheels and premium braking setup.
Whether Benelli decides to introduce it in the Nepalese market is still an open question, but on paper, it certainly looks like an appealing option for new riders looking to step into the adventure segment.
